Add-On: Trusted and Certified Timestamps

Adds a certified timestamp to transactions using a protocol administered by the ICA, a stamping authority within the eIDAS framework. Each digitally signed document is stamped in Circularo through a RFC3161 compliant Time Stamp Authority (TSA) server, in accordance with the RFC 5816 standards. This means that it contains a precise time of signing and the timezone in which it was signed. These timestamps are the only time-stamping technology fully recognized by law, which adds extra layers of security, traceability, integrity and transparency to your documents.

Included

  • A 1000 certified timestamps for document transactions using a protocol administered by the ICA (a stamping authority within the eIDAS framework) per year

Not included

  • Ability to switch on/off Certified Timestamps for selected type documents or users etc.

Required from your side

  • No special prerequisites

Certified Timestamp Transaction is consumed with each and every signing event, any time the electronic certificate is used. Depending on type of signatures used, number of signatories, etc., there might be multiple Certified Timestamp transactions per one document regardless if the document transaction itself has been completed successfully or not.

If you run out of Certified Timestamp transactions the system will automatically switch back to default settings.
