Add-On: Qualified Timestamps
Add eIDAS-qualified timestamps to your documents — providing irrefutable proof that the document existed at a specific time and has not been altered since. Each digitally signed document in Circularo is timestamped using an RFC 3161-compliant Qualified Time Stamping Authority (QTSA), following RFC 5816 standards. This embeds the exact signing time and timezone, synchronized with Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), ensuring strong non-repudiation.
Under the EU eIDAS Regulation, these timestamps have a legal presumption of accuracy regarding the date and time and the integrity of the data they are bound to.
Circularo supports Qualified Timestamps from I.CA or Datasure.
Included
A bundle of 100 qualified timestamps for document transactions per year (additional bundles can be purchased at any time)
Not included
Ability to switch on/off Certified Timestamps for selected type documents or users etc.
Required from your side
No special prerequisites
Qualified Timestamp Transaction is consumed with each and every signing event, any time the electronic certificate is used. Depending on type of signatures used, number of signatories, etc., there might be multiple Qualified Timestamp transactions per one document regardless if the document transaction itself has been completed successfully or not.
If you run out of Qualified Timestamp transactions the system will automatically switch back to default settings.
