Who is an external recipient?
In Circularo, we differentiate between two types of recipients.
The first type is a registered Circularo user = a person who has an account in the system. Users can both send signature requests to others and sign documents received from other people. Users can also store their preferences in the system (language, default signature...)
An external recipient is anyone who has received a document from a Circularo user (typically via email) but doesn't have their own Circularo account. External recipients can sign documents that were shared with them by registered Circularo users only. They cannot store their preferences in the system and cannot send signature requests.
