MS Outlook add-in

With the Circularo for Microsoft Outlook add-in, you will be able to archive your emails in Circularo as well as archive and sign the attachments to your emails directly from Outlook.

Installation

To install the add-in, simply download outlook-circularo.zip , unzip it, click on the setup icon and allow the installation.

The add-in should then appear in your Outlook app automatically, no additional configuration is needed.

If you have any issues with installing the add-in, scroll down for troubleshooting.

To access the add-in, select an email you want to work with.

You will find following 6 new icons in Outlook:

Sign into Circularo

When you first start using the add-in, you will be asked to sign into your Circularo account by simply entering your credentials. You only have to do this once, as you will stay logged in unless you log out manually.

Your e-mail address you use for Circularo does not have to be the same address you use for Microsoft. Any user can log in and use the add-in.

Archive email

This will send the content of your selected email to Circularo in a .msg format. Any attachments the email might contain will also be attached to the .msg file in Circularo and can be accessed and/or downloaded from there.

Clicking on the file name will direct you to Circularo in your web browser to the new file's location.

Archive attachments

This feature is only accessible when your selected email has documents attached to it. It will send all attachments that are in supported formats to Circularo in their original format/s.

In this case, the email had a Word document as an attachment. This document was sent to Circularo in its original .docx format.

Clicking on the file name will direct you to Circularo in your web browser to the new file's location.

Sign attachments

This feature is only accessible when your selected email has documents attached to it. After clicking it, the attachment will be converted to PDF and sent to Circularo to initiate the eSigning process.

Clicking on the document name will take you to the Select who needs to sign page in Circularo where you can pick one of the main eSigning options. There is also an additional option to turn your document into a template.

Settings

Clck on the Settings icon to see info about your current Circularo session, along with the option to Sign out.

You can also access Advanced settings or Reset settings from here.

History

This will open a new window with the summary of all actions you have used the Circularo add-in for historically. This will include the times you have used the MS Word add-in as well.

Help

Clicking on Help will open a window containing a link to this help center and a Crcularo support email address.

Troubleshooting

There are several known issues that may occur when installing this add-in. Here's how to easily fix them.

Non-English characters in destination file name

If you are unable to install the add-in, check if the destination folder of your downloaded file (or any of its parent folders in the hierarchy in your PC) contains a non-english alphabetical character such as á, é, í, ó, ú, etc.

The solution to this issue is to simply rename the folder or move the setup file.

Unlicensed MS Office

You need to have a fully licensed MS Office product to have full access to its app features, including the add-in.

Outdated MS Outlook

The add-in may not work if your Outlook app is out of date.

The solution to this issue is to update your app or uninstall and re-install your MS Office.
