What is a signature provider?

A signature provider is a platform or a service that offers creation and usage of digital signatures. These providers use cryptographic techniques to ensure signer identity, document integrity, and legal compliance, often aligning with standards like eIDAS in the EU.

Circularo is a signature provider, as well as a platform where you can manage workflows and documents. When you are signing, whether it’s with a default Circularo certificate or your company’s certificate, the signature is still done through Circularo, and we are providing the action of signing.

Another signature provider is UAE PASS. The National Identity provider also offers digital signing services, where the signature is sealed with a certificate issued by UAE PASS. The signature goes through the Circularo platform, but is provided by UAE PASS. (Unless of course you are signing documents directly though UAE PASS and Circularo is not involved as a platform at all).
