Issue: Signature not visible on successful document

You may encounter a situation, where you successfully finish a document, all signatures have been placed, but when you open the PDF, the signature is nowhere to be found.

This usually means the signature is in fact present (unless the document has been edited, or tampered with), but it happens to be hidden under some other element.

It is most likely to happen with documents that are in a dynamic format and then converted to PDF upon the initiation of signatures - for example XFA forms have a higher likelihood of this happening.

What to do with this document?

Unfortunately, there is not a way to fix the completed document without breaking the signing seal and thus invalidating the signatures.

We recommend taking the original form of the document, printing it to PDF, and then uploading that PDF for signatures.
