Circularo Roadmap

Are you interested in what is coming next? This page is dedicated to the future - it contains a brief overview of new features and enhancements for our next releases. The releases have rough time frames in which they are planned to go live, but precise dates depend on a lot of moving parts and we do not want to mislead you.

Without further ado, let’s explore what we can look forward to.

Q4 2025

The list of features planned for this release is indicative and subject to change as priorities evolve and the platform continues to develop. Some features may be enhanced, adjusted, or postponed based on new requirements and unforeseen factors. We recommend checking this list monthly to stay up to date with any updates or changes.

1. Advanced Reporting and Actionable Real-Time Insights

This set of features introduces preconfigured tabular reports with advanced filtering, search, and XLS export, along with the ability to drill down or click for deeper insights. The goal is to enhance report management by allowing users to view document data in specific views without accessing the full content, ensuring they can identify documents and determine appropriate next steps without breaching confidentiality.

Enhancements include the ability for users to save default filter fields for a more personalized experience, subscribe to reports for automated updates, and improve the placement of the 'Settings' icon by considering its relocation to the top of the table. Users will also gain the ability to specify column formatting, apply global filters through a widget and shared parameters, and utilize quick filters for a more refined reporting experience. The dashboard and query definitions will be refactored to improve usability, with added options to define filter parameters within dashboard settings. Additionally, documentation and existing definitions will be updated to reflect these improvements. Clickable statistics will provide more interactive insights, and new user permissions will be introduced to ensure the right level of access to reporting features.

2. Enhanced Attachment Management

To make document workflows more flexible and efficient, signatories can now add attachments directly during the signing process. Whether it's a scanned ID, supporting documentation, or additional references, these attachments will be securely bundled into the final signed document, creating a comprehensive and tamper-proof record.

This enhancement eliminates the need for separate email exchanges or manual follow-ups, ensuring that all relevant materials are submitted at the point of signing - in one place, at the right time.

Key Benefits:
  • Streamlined Workflow: Keep everything within Circularo - no need to chase missing documents separately.

  • Improved Compliance & Record-Keeping: Attachments are included in the final signed file for better traceability and audit readiness.

  • Faster Completion: Reduce delays caused by missing information or additional email communication.

  • Enhanced User Flexibility: Empower signatories to provide all necessary documentation in one seamless step.

This feature enhances the signing experience while maintaining security, completeness, and convenience for all parties involved.

3. KYC - ID Verification

We’re enhancing identity verification in Circularo with a new level of security and compliance through our expanded integration with Identomat.

With this update, users will be able to instantly verify an individual’s identity by scanning their government-issued ID, capturing a biometric selfie, and validating the information against trusted data sources - all within Circularo. Supporting thousands of ID types across more than 193 countries, this feature ensures seamless global coverage and compliance for every verification process.

This is the second iteration of our collaboration with Identomat, following the introduction of the Liveness check. Together, these improvements strengthen document security and streamline identity verification for trusted digital signing experiences.

4. Modification of existing transaction

To ensure everything is accurate, up to date, and reflects latest developments, we are making managing transactions even easier. It is now possible to edit details such as protection, passwords to a document, permissions for recipients, or even delegations, after a document has been sent for signing without needing to cancel the transaction and starting over.

5. Custom Views

We’re introducing customizable Views to make navigating and organizing your documents, folders, and reports in Circularo more flexible and efficient.

With this update, you’ll be able to apply global filters, adjust visible columns, and define your search scope - then save these preferences as reusable Views for quick access. Each saved View appears as a tab that you can rename, reorder, update, or delete anytime, giving you full control over how you work. In Folders, Views will now also include a Location parameter - either “This folder only” or “Search everywhere”.

Custom Views in Reports work just like in other modules, keeping your filters and column settings saved per view for a consistent experience across the platform.

6. Added Settings in Administration

We are adding more settings for organizations' admins, which will give them greater control over their system. These settings include control over registration under their organization, default behaviors of signatures and signing process, deciding access to personal stamps, and more granular control over document ownership in specific use cases.

7. Drafts for Recipients

We are constantly working on making document handling an easier and smoother process. For some, that includes dealing with documents that have lots of fields to be filled - and what to do when the signing process is interrupted for some reason before the recipient manages to fill them all. Now, the information entered will be saved as a draft for the recipient, and they won’t have to fill them all out again - they can simply continue where they left off last time, without wasting energy on re-filling fields.

8. Improvements to Fields in Document Preparation

There are quite a lot of fields that can be added to a document - and that goes for types of fields as well as the number of them on the actual document. Which is why we have grouped the most popular fields together, and gave control over the grouping to administrators, so they can set the most useful fields at the top of the list and make document preparation for their users even easier than before.

On top of that, we are adding the option to group fields together, which visually connects them, and allows for them to be moved, duplicated, and managed as a group, rather than individual fields.

9. Other

In addition to the features outlined above, this release also includes a variety of performance enhancements aimed at improving the overall efficiency and responsiveness of the platform. These improvements will optimize system operations, ensuring a smoother and more seamless user experience. Furthermore, the release addresses several integration updates, ensuring that Circularo works even more effectively with external systems and tools. Alongside these upgrades, we've included hotfixes to resolve any critical issues and minor updates to refine existing functionalities, ensuring everything continues to run smoothly and as expected.
